Our Coffee
The heart and soul of any real café is its coffee, and Moksha is no exception. Every cup you’ll drink here is a cut above the rest; selected from a local trader by Moksha to be a unique, flavoursome experience. We’re sure after one cup you’ll be back for more.
Hand roasted in Sussex
Our lovely coffee is loveingly hand roasted right here in Sussex. Promoting local trade. Patience and passion are the key ingredients in our bespoke espresso blend. Savour chocolatey notes, blackcurrant hints and buttery texture.
Our Coffee Origin changes throughout the year depending on the seasons and the best quality available to produce a consistent cup of Moksha Coffee.
Here is a selection of some of our Coffee’s and there origin.

We feel this coffee works on a number of levels. Not only does this coffee have a floral brightness with a lovely acidity but it has a smooth mouthfeel giving it such a well-rounded and complete cup
Monsoon Malabar is a delightfully unusual full-bodied cup with low acidity. We think this coffee is best suited to a full-to-dark roast which our Roastmaster believes enhances it’s rare and special characteristics.
It was in 1600 that the Muslim pilgrim, Baba Budan brought seeds back to India and planted them in the mountains near Mysore. The resulting coffees are noted for their smooth, mild brew and a delicate flavour but having a good body
This Colombian Medellin Excelso coffee is known for it’s smooth and consistent well-balanced flavour. When roasted to its optimum it gives a beautiful, heavy body and a lovely hazel-nutty aftertaste.
Our Kenya AA boasts a fine acidity, a full smooth body, and that incredible blackcurrant flavour that is the hallmark of a top quality Kenya AA.
